Very pleasant. A word of warning, no restaurants locally. If you arrive on a Sunday, check with landlady, as she will is happy to prepare supper.
A real treasure
In the heart of the Charente, in a quiet little corner, M et Mme Alves have created a little haven. Their newly built bungalow is surrounded by a private garden with secure parking and rooms specifically designed for guests. Mme Alves, a charming and attentive host, serves delicious home made jams with imaginative breakfasts.
We spent 9 days there, were warmly welcomed and were thoroughly spoilt.The rooms were spotlessly clean and the beds were so comfortable it felt like home from home. The kitchen/dining room gave us more independence for meals.
It was a really relaxing holiday. Thank you Ana, we shall be back!
