Moulin Du Méjat - Lavergne

Guestrooms in a property of character on the edge of the Alzou, river, a breathtaking natural scene far from traffic jam, rush hours and busy city life … This the Mill of Méjat, a 18th century building, located at Lavergne in the Lot, near Padirac, Loubressac, Rocamadour … Probably one the most beautiful site of France.

Martine & J.Paul receive you in this friendly place, open all year long and offer three spacious, comfortables rooms with private shower and toilets. The breafast will be served, with their homemade jams, on the terrace near the swimming pool. Only 5 hours from Paris by the A20 motorway or the train.



The Mill of Méjat was an authentic water mill, a typical example of the traditional Quercynoise architecture.

Built at the XVIII century, it produced flour until 1956. From this time several owners decided anarchic transformations of the building by destroying its level, its grinding stones. Only the name of " Mill at the adge of Alzou, ", its reserves of water and its small stone bridges remain.



We bought it in 2001 and spent nearly six years to restore the place and warmly receive our hosts
