Description and location
La Hantraye, Chambre d’Hôte, with covered heated swimming pool and free wifi connection for guests use.
Our lovely Chambre d’ Hôte has been completely renovated and we offer 2 double bedrooms and a twin room with an exceptionally high standard of comfort. Breakfast is included in the price. English owners but we do speak some French as well!
We are situated within 3kms of the country town of St Hilaire du Harcouet and within 30 minutes of Mont St Michel , Avranches, popular for it’s War Museum and Foug?res famous for it’s fairytale castle. The medieval town of Domfront and the thermal spa town of Bagnoles-de-l Orne are also nearby.
St Hilaire du Harcouet has a selection of restaurants and good shops, together with an excellent supermarket with a very good wine selection.
The Chambre d’ Hôte is ‘wire free’ and you can connect your laptop to the internet with ease. We have UK TV in the main sitting room and each room has en-suite shower rooms and there are tea and coffee making facilities for all to use in the communal area.
The swimming pool is situated in our grounds and is used by our guests in the houses and the B&B. It is heated by solar panels and has a cover over it virtually all the time for safety, cleanliness and warmth. There is seating area. And loungers by the pool Children must not use the pool unless accompanied by an adult . We cannot accept responsibility for them.
